Return & Warranty
You have 30 days starting from the day your item was shipped in which to receive a full refund on incorrectly shipped or defective items only. Returns must contain all of the original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc...) and be in its original packaging and the product must be in new (unused) condition. We also require a copy of the original invoice or receipt in order to process your refund request.
Once you receive the return authorization information (which you must call in to obtain) you can return the product according to the instructions for a full refund less any restocking fees and shipping to and from.
WARRANTY
Proof of purchase is required for a valid warranty claim.
In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, retail customers have a number of rights in the event a product is defective, including that the product must fit for purpose, match the descriptions, free from defects and is safe and durable. The consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and any other statutory rights remain unaffected by this Warranty provision. This Warranty grants additional or alternative rights to retail customers that are independent from any statutory requirements.
ASMOKE warrants, to the purchaser of (or in the event of a gift or promotional circumstance, the person for whom it was purchased as a gift or promotional item) (“Owner”) this barbecue grill that it is free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase, excluding any normal fair wear and tear.
ASMOKE agrees to repair or replace part(s) that is defective in material or workmanship subject to the limitation and exclusion, to the extent allowable by applicable law, normal fair wear and tear excluded. Original part(s) approved for return by ASMOKE's Parts Department must be returned with postage prepaid by the Owner. ASMOKE is not liable for transportation charges, labour costs or export duties. This warranty is extended only to the Owners and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
For the purposes of this Warranty, “normal fair wear and tear” includes non-essential and other immaterial deterioration that may come with ownership of this barbecue grill over time, such as surface rust, dents, scratches, etc.
For the avoidance of doubt, this Warranty does not apply to paint, fire pot, grill cover or damage caused from corrosion, rust or oxidization unless there is loss of structural integrity on the grill components.
The above Warranty only applies if the Owner takes reasonable care of the ASMOKE product by following all assembly instructions, usage instructions, and proper maintenance stipulated in the owner’s manual. This Warranty lapses and ASMOKE will not be responsible if the product is damaged, deteriorated, discoloured, and/or rusted as a result of:
- The Owner abuse, misuse, alteration, modification, misapplication, vandalism, neglect, improper assemble or installation, and failure to properly perform normal and routine maintenance;
- Insects and rodents, including but not limited to damages to burners, wires and/or hoses;
- Exposure to salt air and/or chlorine sources such as swimming pools and hot tubes;
- Severe weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis or surges, tornadoes, or severe storms; and
- Other environmental factors.
This Warranty will be voided if the Owner or any other person uses and/or installs any parts on the ASMOKE barbecue grill that are not genuine ASMOKE parts, and any damages caused are not covered by this Warranty. Any repair, alteration, modification and conversion of this barbecue grill not authorised and performed by a ASMOKE authorised service technician will also void this Warranty.
This ASMOKE barbecue grill comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. In the event of a major failure the Owner is entitled to a replacement or refund, if the barbecue grill fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to major failure then the purchaser is entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.
